Meet Teron!

Teron Wolf – Empowering People. Changing Lives.

A Little (His)tory…

Teron has always been profoundly fascinated by the intersection between psychology and spirituality. He realized at a very young age that every challenge in his life was an opportunity to learn something about himself and the world around him. In 1991, he had an experience that changed him forever, and launched him into the intensive study and practice of the integrated Counselling, Healing and Spiritual Support work that he passionately pursues to this day.

Teron’s unique, Integrated Mind/Body/Spirit approach is the culmination of a lifetime of education, inquiry, and real-life experience. In pursuit of his own, personal evolution and healing, Teron discovered that there wasn’t any single approach or counselling method that in and of itself, encompassed everything he needed to access in order to effectively heal and grow. He also came to understand that for healing to be truly complete, it has to happen on all levels of consciousness. Determined to do better, Teron was inspired to develop the integrated practice that he now offers to his very happy clientele.

Compelled to further his understanding of the workings of the mind and emotions, Teron began his formal line of inquiry into human psychology and behaviour at the University of Guelph where he studied Philosophy, Ethics and Sociology – continuing his education in Social Work at the University of Victoria.

From here, Teron dove into the study of metaphysical and mystical practices including Human/Animal Communication, Energy Therapies, Meditation & Mantra Disciplines, Sound Healing, Quantum Energetics, and more. He has studied alongside some of the most knowledgable professionals in the industry, as well as having pursued extensive independent learning & development. More and more today, these revolutionary practices are being studied & recognized for their scientific merit, and it is Teron’s ultimate goal to educate and empower as many people as possible to use them to improve the quality of their lives.

On the ‘body’ front, Homeopathic Medicine was Teron’s first love. Despite the fact that it was still considered fringe medicine when he discovered it, Teron took up studying like a starving man at a banquet! The more he learned, and the more he witnessed how effective it was – the deeper his love grew. But it didn’t stop there… The study of Homeopathy inspired Teron to next study Herbalism and Bach Flower Remedies, which further moved him to learn Massage & Trigger-point Therapy. Teron is proud to say that since his discovery of complementary healing practices in 1991, he can count on one hand the number of times he has taken himself, or one of his children to visit a doctor’s office due to illness.

Teron has always had a deep and unrelenting desire to unravel the Mysteries of Spirit – to understand the ways in which these mysteries and our relationship to them, or the absence of them, shape our existence in this world. His personal Spiritual Journey began in early childhood, often manifesting as the ability to heal using Laying-on-of-Hands, easy communication with Nature Spirits, frequent visitations from Spirit Guides, Past-Life Remembrances, and a relentless fascination with the concept of “god”. Dissatisfied with the answers provided to him in response to early questions about a christian “god” figurehead, Teron went on to pursue explorations of Atheism, Agnosticism, Buddhism, New Age Spirituality, Paganism, Shamanism, Star Wisdom, Spiritualism, and Zen. Ultimately, each of these journeys led Teron back to himself – a profound discovery that informs his personal disciplines, his professional practice, and his approach to teaching & collaboration with others.

In early 2005, Teron launched Equanimity Centre, an initiative aimed at educating and empowering children & adults from all walks of life in the areas of Self-Awareness, Alternative Healing, Spiritual Inquiry, and Personal Mastery. Through Equanimity Centre, Teron designed & delivered workshops for hundreds of inspired and inspiring men, women & children. Youth aged 13-18 gathered weekly as White Turtle Learning Group to explore Meditation, Sound Healing, Raw Food Cuisine and more. WolfTongue Workshops reached out to intergenerational groups, building bridges across generation gaps, and inspiring families & friends to learn and grow together. Children, parents & peers learned to understand and support one another in unprecedented ways. During this time, Teron also joined forces with Legacy of the Rose Foundation to spearhead an “Indigo” focused community initiative that grew in membership from 2 to over 200 in less than 6 months!

In 2009, Teron headed briefly in a different direction, accepting consecutive positions in the retirement industry – first in Recreation, then as General Manager of a luxury supported living residence. After 3 years in administration, it was clear to Teron that his people-centred approach and mainstream business practices made unhappy bedfellows so, in 2012 he left the industry to return to the work he loves.

Today, Teron continues his private practice, as well as teaching and facilitating workshops & events, as he tours Canada with TANDMGems & his beautiful wife, Melissa.
