Day 78 (of 21): That I listen so intently to my internal GPS. This morning it lead me to a hiking trail where I discovered the credit card a friend of mine had lost the night before. I was able to return it to him, before he even knew it was missing; Fields full of wildflowers that bend and dance in the wind; A night spent sharing dinner with friends, and laughing so hard my face still hurts…

Day 79 (of 21): My Magpie’s thoughtfulness in getting me ready for my trip tomorrow; My mom, who organized the flights; The technology that makes it possible to take the work I love with me, wherever I go…

Day 80 (of 21): That I made all my connections without incident; That despite an inner ear issue that gives me wicked air-sickness, I managed to keep the contents of my stomach where they belong; That after having not seen my brother in over 20 years, it still feels like yesterday…

Day 81 (of 21): Laughter; Good Food; The soft, comfy bed I am about to fall asleep in…

Day 82 (of 21): A visit with my grandmother, and the opportunity to give her the best back-scratch & head-massage she’s had in ages. There’s nothing better than listening to another human being ‘purr’ with joy in receiving love, attention & kindness; My ‘crystal radar’ that lead me once again, to a random curiosity shop, in the middle of nowhere, that had a few gems tucked away in an obscure corner; The enormous turtle I got to herd off the road on the way back ‘home’…

Day 83 (of 21): Ammonite fossils, and their ability to assist in clearing ancestral trauma; Bumping and banging down old logging roads through the woods to gorgeous, remote lakes in the middle of nowhere; Young, noble deer stags with felted antlers who stand proudly watching, affirming in their special, quiet way that who you become in the world is who you CHOOSE to be…

Day 84 (of 21): Sleeping in, for the 2nd day in a row. My temporary bed is like a little cocoon 🙂 ; The mosquito-proof clothing that enabled me to spend some time outside in this beautiful country, and not be eaten alive; Courageous conversations with people who love themselves and one another enough to look at the hard stuff, and brave the change…
