The Naturopath Issued a Challenge… Week 2

Well, well, well… 2 weeks complete! Here’s the past 7 days of gratitudes:

Day 8

The obvious love that my father-in-law has for his daughters; The way my bulldog softens people’s hearts; The voices of the ancestors in my head, as I wander through their trees…

Day 9

The soft, warm rain that soaked my head, and ran down my face, and filled my heart, and did it all so gently; The beautiful experience of witnessing one of my clients reach a state of Buddha bliss, right before my eyes; The pure joy my bulldog finds in the simplest things, like chewing a stick, or walking beside me down a forest trail…

Day 10

Ancestors, ancestors, ancestors, and trees, and animals, and earth, and sun, and sky, and stars, and my ability (willingness) to hear them; Long drives through gorgeous scenery, reminding me of the beauty I am part of; My welcoming home, who wraps itself around my family & keeps us safe and warm…

Day 11

People who, by contrast, help me remember why I chose to be the person that I am; Quiet days, spent intentionally doing absolutely nothing; My comfy, new office chair – a gift from my Magpie…

Day 12

Coffee – freshly ground & brewed strong, in a French press, just the way I like it; The ability to turn my electronics OFF – especially telephones & answering machines; Being introduced to random, cool things I never would have imagined existed, but do…

Day 13

Sunlight; The talented Osteopath who is helping me reprogram the habits of my body that cause me pain; Bedtime, after a long & satisfying day of work…

Day 14

The circle mandala in the centre of the rug in the meditation room, which has become a tool often called upon to help clients “see” what they are working on; The enthusiasm, support and confident referrals given to me in my practice by Dr. Patrick Callas; The powerful, healing energy that my little bulldog brings to every session – even my clients feel it & comment on it regularly…
